UK Bee Gees

The brothers Gibb were all born in Douglas, on the Isle of Man. Barry Alan Crompton Gibb was born 1 September 1946, and the twins Robin Hugh Gibb and Maurice Ernest Gibb on 22 December 1949. At the end of December 1957 the three brothers performed for the first time live with two friends. At a local Gaumont cinema children were invited to sing between films. The three brothers and their two friends called themselves the RATTLESNAKES. They had planned to mime to a record, which their sister Lesley had just got as a Christmas present. On the way to the cinema one of the Gibb brothers let the record fall to the ground, where it
broke, so they had to sing live.
